Founded in 1976 by the 21 member-states of the Arab League, Arabsat has been serving the growing needs of the Arab world for over 40 years, operating from its headquarter in Riyadh-KSA and two Satellite control stations in Riyadh and Tunis. The company operates the Arabsat and BADR series of communications satellites.
KT SAT (wholly owned by KT Corp., the largest telecom/media service provider in Korea), is the only Satellite Service Provider in Korea. Since the establishment of Kumsan Satellite Center (Teleport) in 1970, KT SAT has been leading the nation’s satellite communication and broadcasting industry through 6 satellite launches (Koreasat-1,-2,-3,-5,-6 and -8) and service operations.
Maxwell Technology was launched in 2007 as an independent provider of last-mile, satellite-based, connectivity and access solutions for their mining and engineering clients in Africa. It uickly evolved to a full-spectrum, end-to-end connectivity solutions provider to clients from predominantly un-served and under-served areas.
